NHS Treatment

At Angle House we are proud to be a provider of NHS funded orthodontic treatment. We have been providing orthodontic treatment to the communities in North London since 1988.

NHS funded orthodontic treatment can be provided to patients under the age of 18 years that meet the NHS eligibility criteria.

We have private treatment options available to those that don’t meet the NHS criteria, along with flexible payment plans to suit every budget.

Are you eligible for NHS funded orthodontic treatment?

In 2006, the NHS introduced new guidelines for the provision of orthodontic treatment which included eligibility criteria. The system is designed to prioritize treatment to those with the greatest need on dental health grounds.

As the funding for NHS orthodontic treatment is capped there is often a waiting list for treatment.

We usually recommend having an orthodontic assessment between the ages of 8-10 years in case early intervention is required.

Orthodontic treatment using the more discrete appliances, such as Invisalign® clear aligners or tooth coloured fixed braces, are available as a self-funded treatment option.
